You are the reason we grew up free,
In a society which will never let a woman

You knew always what gave us the strength
To take the leap of faith and cross any

No boundaries, no questions, no
restrictions whatsoever
Just pure love and trust is what made us
fly without cover
Your love for travel rubbed off on us too
We love to explore the world just as much
as you do
Appa this society isn’t easy on girls,
always telling them what to do
If only there were more fathers out there who
would love them like you do,
Who would push their daughters to reach for
the stars
Teach them to grow stronger and be proud of
their scars,
Appa, on this day and every other, we wish
you long life and health
